Carl Creighton grew up in Prior Lake, MN, about a half hour away from downtown Minneapolis. After performing at coffee shops and bars in the Twin Cities region, Creighton took his acoustic guitar to New York City, where he has lived and performed for 3 years. His music has been compared to a wide variety of artists, perhaps due to his ecclectic musical influences, such as Nick Drake, Radiohead and Gillian Welch. He's 25 years old. He can now play the accordion and loves playing it at shows.

Mixing for 11 North is coming to an end. We have one song left to get into, Fire in the Ward, but the rest of the songs sound really good. Still have to finalize the song order and the little details for each song, but for the most part we're ready to head to the mastering studio. This time we're getting it mastered at the same place Sufjan Stevens and Animal Collective go. The mixes already sound amazing, so I think I'm going to wear a seatbelt when I hear the master the first time.
